Every time I speak to somebody these days they know somebody has just been diagnosed with cancer, has just died of cancer or has some sort of disease or chronic illness. It really makes me more determined to make a difference by educating people on the importance of diaphragmatic breathing and by doing this increasing your oxygen right throughout your entire body. I feel very passionate about this.
We try to do the right things by exercising and keeping ourselves fit and healthy and trying to eat better foods…well most of the time anyway but we often forget about our insides and what’s going on with our cells and organs and how it affects us as a whole.
As most people have become chest breathers during their adult’s years, the end result of our poor breathing habits is not only insufficient oxygen to our brain and the other cells of our body, but also insufficient movement in our internal organs and in the fluids upon which our health depends.
You might think…Deep Breathing; can it really do what you say it can do? All I know is that coming from a fitness background, I’m never going to give up my daily runs, my boxing workouts or my TRX classes but diaphragmatic breathing has been a supplement to my daily training routine. All I do is 15-20 minutes most mornings and it makes a huge difference in my life. I have more energy, better focus and have trimmed my mid section and also knowing that I’m doing something for myself to work on from the inside to prolong my life. You too will be amazed at how you will feel.
I think over the next few years more and more people will look for alternatives in their daily routines to make them feel better, look better and live longer…it’s only a matter of time.
Is the way you breathe making you sick, stealing your energy, hampering your productivity or shortening your life?

The medical and scientific communities are recognizing more and more the importance of getting enough oxygen, here are some extracts from some professionals and what they have said about deep breathing and oxygen:
"Oxygenation through deep breathing boosts the immune system and can rid the body of chronic illnesses." --Dr. Sheldon Hendler, MD, Medical Researcher Cell Oxygenation, Author "The Oxygen Breakthrough"
"Deep diaphragmatic breathing stimulates the cleansing of the lymph system by creating a vacuum effect which pulls the lymph through the bloodstream. This increases the rate of toxic elimination by as much as 15 times the normal rate." --Dr. J.W. Shields, MD, Lymph, lymph glands, and homeostasis. Lymphology, v25, n4, Dec. 1992, p. 147
"Oxygen plays a pivotal role in the proper functioning of the immune system. We can look at oxygen deficiency as the single greatest cause of all diseases." --Stephen Levine, a respected molecular biologist and geneticist, and Dr. Paris M. Kidd, Ph.D., Antioxidant Adaptation
